The House By The Water
Relax in this unique, tranquil riverside accommodation.
The house is close to Argenton sur Creuse. You'll appreciate the gîte for its comfort, view and location. Enjoy this house with Nordic bath at your disposal with family or friends.
Located 3 hours from Paris, next to the A20 motorway, it's ideal for relaxing and clearing your head with friends, anglers or hikers
The accommodation
Our house is on 3 levels, served by a spiral staircase in the tower.
On the ground floor (at road level) are the living room and a laundry room. Upstairs, a corridor with a large glass roof leads to 2 bedrooms, one with bathroom and toilet.
Downstairs, on the garden level, you'll find the 3rd bedroom, a bathroom and toilet, the kitchen and a veranda.
Access to the garden is via this level of the house.
Traveler access
Travelers have access to the entire house and garden. We close the cellars for security reasons.
The garden shed remains open, as do the cushions on the terrace and the matches to light the Nordic bath.
In the living room, the TV is equipped with an Amazon stick with access to all our platforms.
For Netflix, for example, please connect to the profile on the water's edge with the frog. For other accounts, please choose either Julie or Nans

Other comments
We're less than 10 minutes from Argenton sur Creuse, a small town of around 5,000 souls where you'll find everything you need.
Restaurants, shops, Intermarché, museum....
Argenton's covered market has been named the most beautiful in the Indre region. You can visit it every Saturday morning.
Household waste is collected early every Wednesday morning.
So don't forget to take out your garbage cans and put them in the big black garbage can in front of your house every Tuesday evening.
Packaging can be placed next to the garbage can. Your sorting must be done properly.
They don't collect glass. You'll find a glass container next to the town hall in Tendu.
Please do not leave your empty glasses in the house.
The house is equipped with a septic tank, so please only use toilet paper in the toilet.
You may smoke in the garden (not in the house, including the veranda), but all cigarette butts must be collected and disposed of. Ashtrays must be emptied and cleaned when you leave.
You'll find poop bags for your pets in the waste bin at the entrance to the salon.
We are happy to accept them (not on the sofas or beds), but you must ensure that the garden is cleaned when you leave.
For the Nordic bath, wood is available downstairs next to the veranda or upstairs in front of the house.
Remember to light your wood-burning stove 3 hours beforehand, and to keep it stoked for those 3 hours.
A thermometer allows you to check the water temperature as the stove heats up.
Once it's 38/39 degrees, you can remove the cover and take a dip.
